Lagath Link

Shares that are simply there.

Lagath Link connects your Mac to the shares on NAS devices, other Macs and Windows PCs — and keeps them connected. Quietly, from the menu bar.

Coming soon to the Mac App Store. The app is currently in testing.

If you work with network drives, you know the drill: after waking from sleep a share is missing, the NAS was briefly gone, the server folder has vanished from the Finder. Lagath Link regularly checks that all your shares are connected and restores missing ones on its own.

A glance at the menu bar icon is enough: Lagath Link icon means everything is connected; orange Lagath Link icon means something is missing. A click shows what — and opens any share right in the Finder.

What Lagath Link does

Everything in one place

The settings are organized by server: computers on the left; address, user name and password on the right, with the shares and their state below.

Lagath Link’s settings window, “Set Up Connections” tab: on the left the servers Computer 1 and Computer 2, on the right connection name, address, user name and password, below them the share Daten, switched on and connected
Two servers, all shares connected.

Your data stays with you

Lagath Link connects only to the servers you enter yourself. The app collects nothing, sends nothing to the developer and needs no user account. A complete help is built in and works without internet.
